Olga Boznańska

Olga Boznańska was born in Kraków, Poland, and studied in Munich and Paris, where she lived for much of her life. She became one of the most important Polish painters, with a soft, gray-toned style, and she painted many portraits. She was widely admired in Paris. She died there in 1940.
