Jean Le Tavernier was a painter and manuscript illuminator from Oudenaarde in Flanders, active between about 1434 and 1462. He worked in Brussels for the dukes of Burgundy, especially Philip the Good, painting richly detailed pictures in their chronicles and prayer books.
