The Love Potion

Evelyn De Morgan Β· 1903

Why it's great

A woman in a rich gown hands a drink to a knight, as a red-haired woman, seen from behind, watches. Evelyn De Morgan painted the legend of Tristan and Isolde. The jewel-like colors are glorious. It's a beautiful story told in paint.
