The Marquise de Seignelay and Two of her Sons
Pierre Mignard I · 1691
Why it's great
A mother in a rich gown sits with two boys dressed as mythological figures, one as Cupid and one as a little child in a blue cloak. Pierre Mignard painted it in 1691, and it is a fancy, sweet picture.
