Armour
Ragnhild Keyser Β· 1926
Why it's great
Geometric shapes in gray, black and white are stacked into an abstract design that looks like a suit of armor. Ragnhild Keyser was a Norwegian painter, among the first women in Norway to study art abroad, and she explored modern styles. The picture is strong, simple and bold. It's an interesting piece of modern Norwegian art.
