Accent on Pink

Wassily Kandinsky Β· 1926

Why it's great

Circles and dots of different sizes sit on a diamond-shaped patch against a dark background, with a bit of pink as the accent. Kandinsky painted this in 1926 and wrote about how a single small color can change the mood of a whole picture.
