Old Canal Port
Oscar Florianus Bluemner Β· 1914
Why it's great
White houses with red roofs reflect in a still canal framed by dark green trees, in a painting by Oscar Bluemner from 1914. Bluemner treated color like music, and this picture shows a very quiet harmony.
