A Group of Danish Artists in Rome
Constantin Hansen · 1837
Why it's great
A group of young Danish artists sit in a studio, relaxing, with their pals, and each one is lost in his own thoughts. Hansen painted a portrait of his friends. The warm room looks cozy. It's like a family snapshot of a golden age.
