Breakfast Time

Hanna Hirsch-Pauli · 1887

Why it's great

A mother and her children sit around a sunny table for breakfast in a bright room. Hanna Hirsch-Pauli, a Swedish painter, painted this warm family scene in 1887. The glowing sunlight and morning mood are charming. It's one of the most famous paintings by a Swedish woman artist.
