Japanese Dolls and Fan
Paul Peel Β· 1889
Why it's great
Colorful Japanese dolls and a fan are laid out together, with a bright patterned cloth. Paul Peel loved to paint beautiful objects, and Japanese goods were popular in Paris. The bright colors and rich textures are charming. It's a lovely still life.
