Portrait of a Girl Dressed in Blue
Johannes Cornelisz Verspronck Β· 1641
Why it's great
A little girl in a bright blue silk dress and a lace collar holds a feather fan, looking out seriously. Johannes Cornelisz Verspronck painted it in 1641, and the fabric and lace are painted in loving detail.
