Portrait of a Lady
Alesso Baldovinetti Β· 1465
Why it's great
A woman in profile wears a yellow dress and a veil with a spray of flowers, against a pale blue sky. Alesso Baldovinetti painted it in about 1465, and we do not know who she was.
