Afternoon Tea
Richard Edward Miller Β· 1910
Why it's great
Women in long, pale dresses sit and take tea in a sunlit room, in a soft and dreamy style. Richard Edward Miller was an American Impressionist who spent time in the art colony at Giverny, France, where Monet lived. The light is gentle and warm. It's a pretty, relaxed picture.
