Large Bright Showcase

August Macke · 1912

Why it's great

People walk past a big, brightly lit shop window with mannequins in a pile of colorful triangles and rectangles. August Macke painted this in 1912 and was fascinated by city shop windows and the way they let the outside and inside mix.
