The Blue Kitchen
Ludvig Karsten Β· 1913
Why it's great
A kitchen glows with blue walls, a table and sunlight pouring in. Ludvig Karsten was a Norwegian painter who liked strong colors and bold shapes. He lived a free artist's life and painted with a loose, vivid touch. It's a bright, modern look at an ordinary room.
