Hommage to Blériot
Robert Delaunay · 1914
Why it's great
Circles, bright discs and a tiny propeller whirl across the canvas in honor of Louis Blériot, the first person to fly an airplane across the English Channel. Robert Delaunay painted this tribute to flight in 1914.
