Autumn (Vase)
Léon Bakst · 1906
Why it's great
A vase of autumn flowers sits in a swirl of rich red and golden colors. Léon Bakst used bold, glowing colors that later made his stage designs famous around the world. This picture shows the same love of color in a simple flower vase. It's a colorful decorative picture.
