Cumaean Sibyl
Michelangelo Β· 1511
Why it's great
An old woman prophet from ancient times reads a huge book with a giant, powerful body. Michelangelo painted her on the Sistine Chapel ceiling in about 1511, and the arms of this old woman are as strong as a weightlifter's.
