Helvig Paus

Eilif Peterssen Β· 1915

Why it's great

A girl in a white dress with long red hair looks calmly out of the picture. Eilif Peterssen painted many portraits of leading Norwegians and their families. This one comes from late in his career. It's a gentle, graceful portrait.
