Kamal-ol-molk Β· 1896

Why it's great

A grand palace hall with walls of mirrors and a glittering ceiling, where a man in robes sits in the middle. Kamal-ol-Molk painted this masterpiece of the Golestan Palace in Tehran in 1896. The mirrors and glass reflect light in a dazzling way. It's his most famous painting.
