Hunters of Skagen
Peder Severin Krøyer · 1898
Why it's great
Hunters walk through the dunes of Skagen with their dogs, in the clear light of the north. Krøyer painted the artists and locals of Skagen in the open air. The sandy shore and sky are bright. It's a lively picture of life by the sea.
