Summer Evening on Skagen's Southern Beach
Peder Severin Krøyer · 1893
Why it's great
Women in white dresses walk together along the beach in the dusk, with the soft blue sea and sky. Krøyer's friends are the models. The calm, glowing colors are magical. It's a favorite Danish painting.
