Seaport with the Embarkation of Saint Ursula
Claude Lorrain Β· 1641
Why it's great
A harbor with tall buildings is lit by a low, glowing sun, while Saint Ursula and her friends board ships. Claude Lorrain painted it in 1641, and the sun's light on the water is amazing.
