Landscape with Tobias and the Angel
Claude Lorrain Β· 1600
Why it's great
A boy and an angel walk down to a river in a golden, shimmering landscape with trees and distant hills. Claude Lorrain painted it in the 1600s, and the soft glowing light is his trademark.
