A break away!

Tom Roberts Β· 1891

Why it's great

A horse and rider gallop wildly to turn a stampeding flock of sheep away from a waterhole, in a dust cloud. Tom Roberts painted this in 1891 and the tension is amazing. It shows the dangers of work in the outback. It's a thrilling picture.

The horse and rider are galloping fast. Can you find the sheep?
