Omnibus
Anders Zorn Β· 1891
Why it's great
A woman in black sits quietly on a horse-drawn omnibus in Paris, looking down in thought. Anders Zorn painted this scene of city life in 1892, with great skill at catching light and shadow. It's a snapshot of everyday travel in the city. It's a quiet slice of Paris.
