Mountain Streams in Summer and Autumn
Suzuki Kiitsu · 1859
Why it's great
Rushing streams run through mountains, with trees in the bright greens of summer and the reds of autumn. Suzuki Kiitsu painted the seasons on a pair of screens. The curving water adds a flowing rhythm. It's a lovely way to see time pass in one picture.
