The Forest. La Granja

Joaquín Sorolla · 1907

Why it's great

A shady forest path in the sun, with the light speckling the trees and the ground. Sorolla painted the garden of a palace near Madrid. The bright and dark spots of light are lively. It's a refreshing view.
