Midsummer Night near Vejle Fjord
Harald Slott-Møller · 1904
Why it's great
A twilight scene of a silent fjord, with dark trees and a pale pink sky, as the night sun stays low. Slott-Møller painted the magical light of a northern summer night. The picture is hushed and dreamy. It's a favorite Danish landscape.
