Mount Hood

Albert Bierstadt Β· 1869

Why it's great

A snowy volcano rises above a lake and forest in Oregon, in the glow of late light. Albert Bierstadt painted the Pacific Northwest on his travels. The calm water reflects the mountain. It's a peaceful and majestic view.
