Two children teasing a cat

Annibale Carracci Β· 1590

Why it's great

Two kids laugh as one pulls a cat by the tail and the cat hisses and scratches. Annibale Carracci painted this funny scene in about 1590, and it is a warning that teasing leads to scratches.
