Violin and Playing Cards on a Table
Juan Gris Β· 1913
Why it's great
A violin and a hand of cards sit on a table in a puzzle of triangles and rectangles in orange and green. Juan Gris painted this in 1913 using the Cubist style, which showed objects from many sides at once.
