The Jewish Bride
Rembrandt Β· 1667
Why it's great
A man in a red coat and a woman in gold hold hands, and he puts his hand gently on her chest. Rembrandt painted it in about 1667, and the thick, glowing paint is one of his late masterpieces, and the couple's identity is unknown.
