Two Women at a Window

Bartolomé Esteban Murillo · 1657

Why it's great

A young woman leans out of a window and smiles while an older woman hides behind a shutter, laughing. Bartolomé Esteban Murillo painted it in about 1657, and it is a sweet, playful moment.
