Grape and Melon Eaters

Bartolomé Esteban Murillo · 1650

Why it's great

Two ragged boys eat fruit and enjoy it, a boy with a bunch of grapes and another with a slice of melon, while a little dog looks on. Bartolomé Esteban Murillo painted it in about 1650, and his street boys are cheerful and warm.
