Ship of Fools

Hieronymus Bosch Β· 1500

Why it's great

A boat full of silly monks, nuns and drunks bobs along with no one steering, while a man hangs from a tree. Hieronymus Bosch painted it in about 1500, as a joke about foolish people who think they are wise.
